Do you know an inspiring woman? That’s a rhetorical question. Of course you do.

One of our pet peeves with International Women’s Day is that it perpetuates the notion that we should take one day a year, like Mother’s Day, to celebrate women, and to call out gender inequalities, gender bias, and the gender pay gap. Obviously change to a system that has been in place for decades, let alone centuries, requires consistent work.

While there are many women who are doing this work on a day in, day out basis, publicly and formally, there are also countless numbers of women who are bravely charting paths, setting examples, and creating cultural change in their own quiet, or brazen ways, out of the public eye.

She could be your best friend, your mother, your daughter, or your colleague. Regardless, we want to recognize her: the woman who is “lifting up others while she rises,” the woman who is “your biggest cheerleader,” who is tuned in to her own value and helping others see their value too.

We want to recognize the great and small contributions that these women have made to our local communities and our workplaces. Women can truly be each other’s best allies and champions. We believe that by lifting each other up, we all rise.

Too few women are spotlighted as thought leaders or given any kind of recognition for their contributions. The WIN Woman of the Year Award and Giveaway is part of a nationwide WIN initiative to honor the influence that women have had in their communities, organizations, or industries.

Presented in partnership with Revitalash, a leading beauty brand born out of a desire to help women look and feel their best, we will celebrate women that inspire, lead, and forge the way for other women through a series of WIN Woman Spotlights highlighting the ways they lift others around them. The WIN Woman of the Year will be selected by an independent panel and will be officially announced at WIN Summit, a hybrid event for women looking to enhance their leadership and negotiation skills and further develop themselves personally and professionally.

Throughout the months of April and May, we’ll be Spotlighting eight of these women and their contributions. Along with a chance to be spotlighted to WIN and Revitalash’s communities, we will also automatically enter you (the entrant) and her (your nominee(s)) into a pool with a chance to win one of the following prizes:
